Welcome to Bufland Boerdery.  Bufland is a farming company situated on the farm Buffelsfontein, 22km north-west of Naboomspruit / Mookgophong in the Limpopo Province, South Africa.  Bufland produces, among others, the following products:

  • Stone fruit (peaches and nectarines);
  • Citrus (lemons and oranges);
  • Avocados; and
  • Pecan nuts.

The agronomy division, all under irrigation in a crop rotation system,consists of:

  • Seed Corn;
  • Wheat;
  • Groundnuts;
  • Beans;
  • Lucerne and
  • Potatoes.

Bufland Boerdery also has a livestock enterprise that mainly consists of the following:

  • A Bonsmara stud;
  • Commercial Feedlot;
  • SA Mutton Merino sheep and
  • Game and hunting division.

Bufland’s operations are further supported by the other divisions of Bufland namely Bufland Seed Treatment and Buffalo Cargo.  Bufland follows a strict biological approach in its quest for sustainable farming.  The farm has a full compost manufacturing site that provides for the whole farm’s composting needs.  The brand  is already well known for quality in South Africa and abroad.   It is used for export as well as for the domestic marketing of its products.
